Echo Ache

To the cool moon sky goes my prayer

And to the vastness goes my mind

To see the earth, froglet egg

Tadpole of becoming

Alone in the heavens

Sent to color the dark

White rock shelf space

Stiffen and guide me

My frozen lost cells

Amongst the widest night

And stars like milk

Fill my mind

Earthgazer boy and his floating pen

He forgets

As does the beast of his zoo

Wandering, wandering

His memory unrefined

And it's cold here, on the moon
