Poor/Fair/Good

The campus chapel 

Is booked most Sundays,

So I go on Mondays. 

Alone in a church,

I feel like I have

To reflect, 

On principle

If nothing else. 

But showing is poor. 

I fill all the pews,

And I do feel God

Deserved two at least. 

If he does pay any

Mind to this chapel,

I think that I may 

Have woken him up. 

The lights flickered on,

And I saw him take

A drowsy snapshot 

Of his audience.
