Ode to Dino Nuggets
Oh plump juicy shapes of chicken,
dipped in egg and breaded with panko,
how beautiful is your golden color,
crisp yet tender, awaiting for my lips to taste.
How your delicious scent wafts, tickling my nose,
my mouth salivating as I arrange you on a plate.
Oh lovely dinosaur cutouts,
how perfect is your surface area to volume ratio,
with a delightfully seasoned crust accompanying every bite.
You far superior nugget! no other silhouette compares,
with all your nooks and crannies,
your appendages make for superb rations of dip.
Oh succulent poultry snack,
how crunchy and enticing are your legs and head and tail
as I slather you in honey and lift your body to my mouth,
chewing slowly to savor that sticky, salty-sweet flavor
mingling so delectably on my tongue.
Why must you be so appetizing?
For I must cause your extinction.
